Private Exchange: Fairytale Exchange for
 !I had sooo much fun with the theme of this exchange. I did quite a bit of research on fairytales trying to find one that fitted Myre's characters. But in the end I settled for one of the most common ones; Beauty and the Beast. She had suggested Nina in the classical kindhearted heroine role, and Maragni as an enchanted prince... so when I realized I could combine those two into one picture I went for it! : ) Nina is normally a wood elf/werefox mage, and Maragni is a vampire (thus the bat-like features to his beast form). As of September 2009 =ImaginaryRosse joined the project and will be helping us out with the weekly choices. While things have changed over time, the essence of the newsletter is still the same. The sacred cows have come home to roost with a vengeance.
THAT'S SO AWESOME. It's pretty perfect for them as a matter of fact. I mean, Nina's the one that turns into a furry critter but Maragni is pretty much a beast all the time. XD The bat-face rocks, I laughed so hard. (The delighted kind of laugh!)
Hehe, I'm glad you went with something romantic, I'm totally a sucker for that sort of thing. The pose is really fantastic, loving the angle of Nina's hip and the way their toes are pointed. It reminds me of a black and white film!
I'm excited that we got one another! I like it when it works out that way.
